The LA Times ran a delightful story today, Guerrilla gardener movement takes root in L.A. area. Also read MamaGenerica's A guerrilla gardening primer. I have been planning a series of posts about how PR has destroyed civic discourse. But, I want to say in advance, I don't mean MamaGenerica. She practices PR for the forces of good. She is a good fairy. ;-)
Hey, thanks Grace! :-) And I'll look forward to your PR posts, since that's actually what I do in my day job (I choose my clients carefully). Most of what I read is professional stuff so it would be really good to see a view from the other side.
ReplyDeleteWe had a guerilla garden on the island of the street in our NY neighborhood. I always made a point of going past that block when I went out for walks.
ReplyDeleteI can see the bumper stickers already. "Make seed bombs, not cluster bombs"
