Mommy & Me Möbius

Möbius shoulder wrap for myself, to match Iris' Möbius Mini.
Using a 47” size 7 cable needle, Möbius cast on 160 stitches plus the slip knot for 321 stitches per round. (I have no clue how I ended up with 319 stitches.) Knit in moss stitch (K1, P1) until you are almost out of yarn. Bind off using the stretchy bind off before you run completely out of yarn.

You can use a 32” cable needle after the first few rounds. You can use a crochet hook to speed up the bind off.

If you use the entire skein, the Moebius strip becomes a bit too wide to wear without folding over a little bit at the back neck. You may like the fold over. But, if you don’t, stop when the band is 10” wide or so.

You can learn more about the cast on and bind off method in the Möbius Mini post.

If you are a ravelry user, more details are here.
