Location: George Nakano Theater, 3330 Civic Center Drive, Torrance
The City of Torrance invites you to join us and learn how to develop an
ocean friendly garden or landscape using the latest sustainable
materials and techniques. Learn how to use native and other drought
tolerant plants, water efficient irrigation systems and devices,
permeable hardscape materials and on-site water retention techniques to
reduce water usage, lower your costs for watering your landscape and
reduce dry-weather run-off to our ocean. This workshop is free. Space is
limited. Registration is required.
