@Jane No, we sat about 2/3 back. Neither a celebrity nor an academic. The actress that played Phyllis struggled with her mermaid hem. It looked like the dress just grew and grew under the weight of the beads.
It reminds me of the time I worked as a wardrobe mistress and I hemmed and rehemmed a similar dress, right up to the moment the actress made her stage entrances. I swear, if you looked at the dress carefully, you could see the hem grow!
