When I moved out to Boulder, we divided up the coffee mugs. On my last visit to LA, I noticed the nerdiness of our mug collection. (Isn't it amazing how absence helps us see anew?)
These are only the ones that remained in LA. I have some nerdy mugs in Boulder, too.
I've shown you mine. What do your mugs say?

I used to have a Microsoft mug and an NRO mug that I valued as souvenirs, but they got broken.
I might be able to help you replace one of them.
DeleteYou forgot our pride and joy -- the commemorative mug from Will and Kate's royal wedding! (Celebrating a different kind of nerdity.)
ReplyDeleteI am hoping that breaks some day.
DeleteNever! When the royal spare is born I shall buy his or her mug too.
DeleteCan you believe that the kitchen cabinet maker said that, if I used clear glass doors, I should put only pretty things--not put my Broncos mug collection behind them.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any NFL mugs. But, I bristled nonetheless. Shouldn't we display our idiosynchrasies proudly?
Our mugs are either from travelling or are a bit quirky but not fabulous.
