Muslin strips. I was wondering how they got such wide resisted areas.Does he really use RIT dye for his own line? I prefer fiber reactive dyes.

Thank you Grace, really interesting. I prefer fiber reactive as well. Using muslin for resist is a great idea, might try this :-)
