I have one more giveaway from a recent closet purge.Remember the gray cabled cardigan? I don't wear it much because I discovered that I do not like wearing Patons classic wool. If I had made the entire thing out of Cascade 220, it would have been a keeper. It should fit a medium, or a 34-36" bust.
It comes with a matching knee-length gray wool crepe skirt made from Butterick 6407. It should fit someone with a 28" waist and 38" hips. It's a beautiful Italian wool crepe, but it is too tight. I also I made the mistake of lining it in polyester. A (skinnier) seamster should be able to easily replace the lining.
The raised waist is very flattering, especially if you are long-waisted like me.
There is a catch. I would prefer to send it to someone in Australia who can ship a couple of Chez Badmom staples not available in the states in return. I have run out of Hydraderm Sorbolene Cream and Probiotic Easiyo packets. I guess that is more of a swap than a giveaway.
I really like the cardigan - I don't think the skirt will fit me though!
